Brief:

The client, an interior designer came to us with a brief that he wanted us to do four tasks for him:

  • Virtual receptionist
  • Bookkeeping services
  • Social media management
  • Internet research about competitors, product variations and so on.

The other concise that he provided us was to create an e-mail id to help manage the social media. Posts and shares based on his business daily was a must. On a monthly basis, he requested us to complete the financials. Virtual receptionist was to handle the queries that would come in from the customers. He also told us that he would opt us for period of 3 months, and post that, if satisfied will continue with us!

Our role:

The virtual assistants at Habiliss immediately sat to work after getting the brief. Small businesses always require more attention than we actually think they need. Social media plays a very important role here. Our virtual assistant thoroughly studied the business and the concept. Interior designing meant that the social media posts must contain homes, offices, architecture and so on. On a daily basis, the virtual assistant posted on social media about the new trends in interior designing, different types of design and the like. The assistant used hashtags that matched with the content, thus gaining a better leverage for the business. On a weekly basis, the assistant jotted the financials, and compiled them by the month end. The customers who called were promptly answered and were happy with the relevant answers given by the assistant. Also, we did a methodical research about the competitors, products and services. We understood the pattern of working for the competitors and molded our client’s business accordingly.

Result:

At the end of the first month, we received a testimonial from the client telling that our services were good and to continue the same way. The next two months, again we received positive feedback from the client. His business picked up, and he saw a marginal profit at the end of the third month. As promised, he continued with our services, and stays as one of our valuable client even today!
